Yes, I do use Venus/Chiron midpoint in almost every kind of chart. It’s useful for both love and success. But sorry, no, midpoints cannot form Cinderella linkages in CACs (combined charts.) Cinderella linkages are formed between Chiron and these planets: Sun, Earth, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto, Odin, and Moon. But only if the birth time and birth place are known.
