My clients who enter juried shows such as film festivals, actually choose which shows to enter each year based on their personal cycles. If you know you have great chances, enter! If you’re not likely to receive an award or mention, don’t.
Here’s how to figure out which of your personal cycles are relevant:
If there’s a money prize, then you would want to enter shows when you have great money cycles: Golden & Silver.
Regardless of the type of show, these 2 cycles will be a major help: Cinderella & Super-Fame.
During Cinderella cycles, people see you in your best possible light. Your charisma and ability to make a good impression are at a peak. The more concurrent Cinderella cycles you are having, the more charismatic and wonderful you are perceived to be!
Super-Fame cycles are times when you can most easily achieve fame and broad recognition. These are the best times to make public appearances, to schedule performances and auditions, to sign contracts related to fame and recognition such as with an agent or public relations firm, and to release movies, music, books or other creative materials.
Also regardless, these 2 cycles could present major problems: Nuclear & Blackout.
Nuclear cycles can create repellence. They are representative of severe bad judgment and planning, and they will make you more error-prone both in your judgment, your computations, and in your speaking and writing.
Blackout cycles are characterized by bad judgment and people seeing you in your worst possible light. In business, Blackout cycles are the worst possible times to meet new people, to start a new venture or a new job, to invest, to sign important agreements, to incorporate, or to launch a product or website.
