Both Jordan and Robby offered JoJo real true love potential and fairly high soulmate potential (in terms of how she feels – JoJo ranks lower in being a potential soulmate for both guys.) In terms of compatibility, both offered her better than average companionship and communication. Both Jordan and Robby also offered JoJo higher than average loyalty and trust, and potential for attachment. Also, the heartbreak potential in both of these relationships is low for each person, so in the event of a breakup, no one is likely to be seriously hurt.
So why was Jordan a better choice for JoJo?
First, chemistry. JoJo has much higher sexual heat potential with Jordan than with Robby. Jordan and JoJo score a 9 out of 10, Robby and JoJo score only 4 out of 10. Even though sexual heat can be temporary, it’s fun while it lasts! See the Recap page of JoJo’s Love-Stars Relationship Reports with both guys at right.
The second reason JoJo should & did choose Jordan is compatibility: Though her clash severity is high with both Jordan and Robby, it’s worse with Robby. JoJo has 8 nuclear clashes with Robby, 6 napalm clashes, and 9 power struggle clashes. These are some of the worst deal-breaker clashes and this much clash severity usually indicates a tumultuous relationship unlikely to last. Truly, JoJo’s compatibility with Jordan is not much better, but it IS better.
The third reason Jordan is a better choice for JoJo is that his benevolence toward her scores a 7 out of 10, while Robby’s benevolence toward JoJo is only a 3 out of 10. One-sided benevolence scores indicate that person’s willingness to help or protect the other person, though they won’t change the person’s basic character. 3 is enough here, but 7 is better!
Fourth, JoJo is more obsessed with Jordan than with Robby. This indicates that Jordan can hold her attention and interest longer than Robby can.
There are arguments which could have been made in favor of Robby too: JoJo’s relationship with him has a higher consistency score, higher financial potentials, and higher loyalty and trust scores. Also, JoJo has greater control in the relationship with Robby, while Jordan is more in control of his relationship with JoJo.
Interestingly, both relationships score low on the potential duration scale, so the odds are that neither relationship would be forever, unless the couple marries, which changes the odds. Also, both relationships score on the low side for sexual harmony and forever sexual attraction – these are what’s left when initial sexual heat burns out. Additionally, neither guy has a very high soulmate potential score, meaning that while JoJo could feel that either Jordan or Robby is a potential soulmate, neither Jordan nor Robby are likely to feel as strongly that JoJo is his soulmate. Another similarity is that both guys have low obsession scores for JoJo, so neither may be that fixated on her long-term.
So ultimately, why did JoJo choose Jordan?
Higher true love potential and higher obsession with Jordan:
JoJo: “… [my] feelings for Jordan were just stronger. I just couldn’t imagine ever saying goodbye to him.”
Higher sexual fireworks and higher obsession with Jordan:
JoJo to Robby: “I fell in love with you, but for some reason my heart is somewhere else.”
+ more benevolence from Jordan than Robby, and slightly lower severity of deal-breaker clashes.
I’m glad JoJo chose Jordan! JoJo’s relationship with Jordan, though actually quite similar in metrics to her relationship with Robby and filled with serious clashes, just has a slightly higher probability of working out long-term.
