“Greetings Helena, I would like to know if there is any classification or hierarchy of transits and aspects in Magi astrology. I have read some articles and I see Cinderella aspects and transits, super, nuclear, flying eagle, etc. I would like to establish a classification of good and bad transits in order of importance or strength. Is there any written source on this, I have seen the published books and would like to know if any of them has this info. Thank you!”
Hi,
Let me start by clarifying: Cinderella transits are certain types of linkage transits to or from Chiron. Nuclear transits are clash transits from Saturn to Jupiter or the Saturn/Jupiter midpoint to Sun or Earth. Flying Eagle is a type of planetary geometry in a natal or combined chart and can contain any planets or points.
Sorry, but there is no written hierarchy of transits I can refer you to but I can give you some VERY basic, general info:
Progressions vs. Transits:
Pure Progressions are the longest and strongest influences on you at a given time.
Progressed Transits are the second strongest influences on you.
Both kinds of progressions set the stage, create the context, within which your transits unfold.
Great progressions make good transits better and bad transits less bad.
Bad progressions make good transits less good and bad transits worse.
Strength of transits by natal planet:
Transits to your Sun and Earth will affect you VERY personally.
Transits to your Chiron can be crucial to both love and success.
Beyond these initial basics, look for transits by symbolism: Look for transits to or from points which rule the area(s) of your primary interest.
Strength of transits by transiting planet:
Linkage transits from Jupiter and Odin are almost always favorable.
Clash transits from Saturn or Saturn midpoints are almost always challenging.
Strength of transits by amplification factors:
Rare transits are more powerful (the slowest transits are rarest, and there are other rarity factors too.)
Transits forming multi-planet geometry with natal planets are more powerful.
Symmetrical geometry is more powerful that asymmetrical geometry.
Transits to a single natal planet by multiple transiting planets are more powerful.
Transits from a single transiting planet to multiple natal planets are more powerful.
Complete transits are more powerful than incomplete transits.
Loop transits are more powerful than non-loop transits (the tighter the loop orb, the more powerful.)
