I just love these Q&A’s! Thanks! How strong are unaspected planets? Because they are completely unaspected do they lose strength or gain? And how? Specifically curious about an unaspected Saturn….what does the Saturn do then?
Great question!
First, if you’re using all the six dimensions and the more than 40 points used in science-based astrology, you will almost NEVER find a planet that is truly unaspected.
But if you do… An unaspected planet would lack the strength and power given to a planet by its involvement in planetary geometry. So in this sense you could say an unaspected planet is weaker than a planet which is found in planetary geometry. By strength alone, a planet in complex, rare Geometry would be strongest, then a planet in simple three-planet geometry, then a planet in a two-planet aspect, then an unaspected planet.
Also keep in mind that negative planetary geometry which can drag a planet down. Strong geometry doesn’t necessarily mean positive geometry. For two-planet aspects, a planet in a two-planet aspect could be enhanced by the aspect or reduced by it, depending on the second planet and the angle. Another consideration is that natal planets in aspects or geometry can create more powerful transits when they are simultaneously transited by a third planet or planets.
As far as Saturn goes, if it is unaspected, then it’s not dragging down any other planets.
